The Dignity for All Students Act has passed in New York! This is an incredible win, as the bill includes gender identity and expression as opposed to limiting its protection of queer identities to sexual orientation only. Transgender rights are so easily passed over and forgotten by the LGBTQ community, but for once, this is great news.
